Antonio Fuoco

Antonio Fuoco was born in Cariati, in the Calabria region of Southern Italy, on May 20 1996 and began his career driving karts when he was only 4 years old. In 2007 he got his first international victory in the 60 mini category. In 2009 Antonio moved up to KF3 getting the third place in the rank of the Italian Championship, while the year later he won the second place in the rank. At the end of 2011 Antonio won the Supercorso prize organized by CSAI in collaboration with FDA that foresees some test sessions with Formula Amarth. The good results, achieved in 2012 during his debut in KF2 (where he got the third rank in the WSK Euroseries) and all the progresses shown during testing, driving Formula Abarth, allowed the Italian guy to take part of FDA officially. Antonio became Champion in Formula Renault 2.0 Alps in 2013 and moved on to get fifth place in FIA Formula 3 Championship. In 2015 he was appointed as development driver for Scuderia Ferrari and made his debut in the GP3 Series with the British team, Carlin Motorsport. This year, he continued in the same series, finishing third with the Trident team.
